These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Nutrifieds ("Nutrifieds", "we", "us"), the operator of Nutrifieds and the website at nutrifieds.com. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using Nutrifieds, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Who may use the service
You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence, or use Nutrifieds under the supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
2. What the service is — and is not
Nutrifieds is a nutrition and lifestyle coaching platform. It delivers coach-built schedules, recipes, educational content, reminders, and progress tracking. Nutrifieds is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Please read our Health & Nutrition Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
3. Accounts and coaches
Some plans include guidance from a coach. Coaches provide general nutrition and lifestyle support only; they are not acting as your physician, registered dietitian, or other licensed healthcare professional unless expressly stated in writing. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, including any health conditions and allergies, so that guidance can be tailored safely.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and renewals
Paid memberships are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example monthly or yearly) in Canadian dollars (CAD). By subscribing you authorize us, and our payment processor, to charge your payment method for each billing period until you cancel. Personalized programs may be billed as one-time purchases for their stated duration.
Prices are shown before you subscribe and may change; we will give notice of a price change before it applies to your next renewal. Taxes may be added where required. Full details of renewals, cancellation, and refunds are in our Billing, Renewals & Cancellation policy.
5. Your content and our content
Recipes, health hacks, lessons, program templates, and other materials in Nutrifieds are owned by us or our licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly post them. Any notes, messages, or information you submit remain yours; you grant us a limited licence to store and process them to operate the service.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use Nutrifieds lawfully and as described in our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, that put other users or the service at risk, or where required by law.
7. Third-party services
Nutrifieds relies on third parties to function — for example a payment processor, email and messaging providers, and hosting infrastructure. Their handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control, including external links or embedded videos.
8. Disclaimers of warranty
Nutrifieds is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular health or nutrition outcome.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nutrifieds, its owners, employees, and coaches will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Nutrifieds harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the service.
11. Termination
You may stop using Nutrifieds and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) continue to apply.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the federal laws of Canada and the laws of the province or territory in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, subject to any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer under the law of your own residence.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Meaningful changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Nutrifieds after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
